ONLY GREASE POINT WORKWEAR
Repairs are something we like to offer as a way to extend the life of your garment and add value to your investment. We don’t have the resources to repair garments made by other manufacturers. There are a number of independent companies that do clothing and denim repair for all brands.
SEND AN EMAIL REQUEST FOR A REPAIR
Before sending your garment in for repair, email info@greasepointworkwear.com with some photos of what you would like repaired. We’ll get back to you with an estimate and approve your repair. It’s recommended to send your pants in for repair sooner rather than later. If you have some small holes and areas that are just starting to wear through, we’ll repair them and reinforce areas that look like they might wear through soon. If your pants are completely shredded they are very difficult or impossible to repair.
YOU PAY SHIPPING PLUS A NOMINAL REPAIR FEE
Our repairs are low cost compared to most independent denim repair companies, but it does take time and resources so there is a small fee. The fee is evaluated depending on the extent of the repair. Most repairs will be between $30-60 per garment. You are responsible for paying shipping both ways. Return shipping is $10 and will be added to your fee. Most repair fees end up being $40 (including the return shipping) and can be paid via PayPal.
WASH YOUR JEANS… PLEASE!
You must absolutely wash your jeans prior to sending them in for repair. If you don’t, We’ll wash them and charge you $20. This is purely out of respect for our health and olfactory senses. Please don’t send in your jeans that are caked with months of sweat and grime. Your fades will be fine. WASH THEM! This means:
Unroll your cuffs and get all the hairballs out
Put them in the washing machine- by themselves or with like-colored denim
Put detergent in (unscented or low scent PLEASE!)
Stretch them out to reduce the wrinkles, and hang dry in the sun or in front of a fan until completely dry- turn inside out if need be to completely dry out pockets
If they were so dirty to begin with that they still smell, or have visible dirt on them- repeat this process
Send Them in!
We love to offer this service. It allows you to get more out of your investment in high quality, ethically made clothing. And repairing your clothes means consuming less, and having long lasting garments that develop great character.
